History
As with many major breakthroughs, Super-Click International’s history is short but eventful.
In 2007 Chinese innovator and businessman Mr Huan Wen Huang, owner of company, Mei Li Sheng, based in Guangzhou (PRC) and his business partner, Mr Kok Yin Low, met specialist flooring professional Stewart Procter at the Harrogate Flooring Show in the UK.
Mr Huang and Mr Low had been marketing traditional dry back LVT products, and together they discussed the possibility of developing a click system that would take the flooring industry by storm.
After more than two years of intense research and development activity in China, Mr Huang created the Super-Click system.
In September 2010, Super-Click was displayed for the first time in the UK at the Harrogate Flooring Show, where it received an enthusiastic response from both distributors and retailers.
January 2011 saw the launch of Super-Click to a global audience of distributors, manufacturers and leading flooring industry figures at the Domotex Hannover exhibition. Interest was so extensive that it became apparent a manufacturing partner with global resources was crucial to success.
Discussions with Beaulieu International Group (BIG) were initiated at the end of January and were successfully concluded in July, when Mei Li Sheng entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Beauflor, a division of BIG, covering markets in North America, Western and Eastern Europe.
Under the agreement, Mei Li Sheng, retains rights to emerging markets in Asia, Central and South America, the Middle East, Africa and Australasia. The Super-Click brand is managed through Super-Click International, headquartered in Preston, Lancashire, UK.
